description Beginning on April 1, 2009, and continuing until further notice, Lake Perris SRA will inspect all vessels for Quagga Mussels prior to entering the park. Season for Peak Fees: 03/01 to 11/30 Formed by Perris Dam, Lake Perris offers a variety of water recreation, including swimming, fishing (shore, pier and boat), boating, sailing, waterskiing, and a special area for scuba diving. Wildlife includes ducks and Geese. Anglers can find rainbow trout, catfish and Alabama spotted bass. The area also offers opportunities for hikers, bikers and equestrians. Rock climbing is featured in an area south of the dam. The Ya' Heki' Regional Indian Museum is in the area, along with a 2,000-acre reservoir. Check the State Parks website for additional information on the weather, suggested day hikes, or to see the park brochure, campground map, park photos, video, and more. drivingDirection Lake Perris SRA is located 11 miles south of Riverside. From Highway 60: take Moreno Beach Drive for 3 miles toentrance. From I-215: take Romana Expressway East for 2 miles. If arriving after 8pm use Highway 60 and Moreno Beach Drive forentrance.

importantInformation Your DMV Disabled Placard/License Plate does not automatically give you a discount on your campsite. You will need to obtain a CA State park-issued Disabled Discount Pass (DDP) or Distinguished Veterans Pass (DVP). Discount Pass must be presented at the time of check in. Fees include entry for 1 vehicle and 1 legally towed vehicle or trailer; additional vehicles will be charged per night at the park. Although your site may allow 2 or more vehicles, your reservation only includes 1 vehicle (except for group or specialty sites. Extra vehicles and watercraft must pay use fees on arrival. Your vehicles must fit within the 31ft of driveway space! Maximum stay during peak season (March-November) is 15 days. All persons and equipment must completely vacate the campground for two consecutive nights and are able to make a reservation at Lake Perris after November 30th for an additional 15 days.
